let’s start.
STEP 1:
If you like to complete it more comfortably for yourself, first try removing a big letter G with a pencil so you can build the bubble version around it. We can draw the first line, whether you decide to do it or not. It will be drawn with a long, regular stroke with a slight curve. Please follow the reference picture we provide as closely as possible. You will notice a small bump on the right edge of this line. Once you’ve added that little bump, we can move on to step 2, extending that line further.
2ND STEP:
In this second step, we will add to the line we started in the first step. For now, we’ll focus on the upper end of the line. To do this, restart the discharge of the line upwards, as indicated in our contact photo. It should follow the same slight curve we created in Step 1. At the top, it will curve quite sharply to the right—the top of the bubble letter. The idea here is that, ideally, we want it to look like one long line. Now that the next section of the letter is ready, we’ll complete the top section of the letter G in the next step of our guide, so let’s move on.
STEP 3:
You are now ready to draw the rest of the “roof” part of the letter. Extend the top of our drawn lines and curve them sharply inward. If you bend your index finger sideways in front of your face, you’ll get a shape similar to what we’re looking for. Once it curves inward, it will continue until about halfway through the letter. You are now ready to complete the outline in the next step.
STEP 4:
This branch will extend from that little bump you drew at the bottom in step 1. You can use your hand to help visualize the shape again. This time, hold your right thumb so the side is facing you. Fold the join, and you will get the shape we will draw. Create a line that goes up, then curves inward, then towards the center of the letter.
This may look more complicated than it is, so refer to the reference image carefully as you draw. Eventually, the curved line toward the center will end up where we left off last time. With that, your plan is complete! We can add some details to make it look like a bubble, but we’ll do that in the next step.
STEP 5:
This simple, small oval will replicate the appearance of light reflecting off the bubble’s surface. You can add a few more ovals or shapes for more highlights! Next, we’ll add thin, curved lines around the inside of the G. These will add depth to the letter and make it look like it’s made out of a bubble. Again, you could play with this by adding more or fewer of these lines. When those details are added, feel free to add your fun touches! You can get creative by adding patterns or other fun touches to the letter. After the next step, we will also cover some ideas to try. For now, we’ll add some color to the menu.
STEP 6:
We chose that for this map, but you can cool it in many other ways! If you have another favorite color, you should go for it. Or, if you can’t decide on a color, you can use several different colors to create a rainbow effect for the lettering.
